    ︎︎︎ 3/2/23, Whips and Furs at Tweedy’s with 1bymetallica: Will curate and DJ a post-punk themed DJ set alongside Fort Worth’s, DJ Splendor. 

    ︎︎︎ 12/29/23, Twee Night at Tweedy’s with 1bymetallica: Curated, DJ’d, and organized a silent auction to raise money for the Middle East Children’s Alliance. Raised a total of $1,700 during the three hour event. Played and curated a 90s twee-indie focused DJ set. 

    ︎︎︎ 10/12/23 - 10/15/23, Maldosa Texas Tour: Booked shows and organized travel for Maldosa’s Texas tour across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. 

    ︎︎︎ 3/17/23, Maldosa Demo Release Show: Organized and booked DIY demo release show at Montopolis Bridge with other local acts.

Vintage Sourcing & Curation                     May 2019 - Present

Maya is extremely passionate about vintage, luxury designer clothing, and curation. They source vintage and designer clothing from eras dating back to the 40s & 50s to the 2000s. Most of their work is done through their shop, ineedibuprofen, where they sell pieces at monthly local pop-ups.

During COVID, Maya began focusing on creating curated vintage bundles for clients and sourcing clothing for local shops. Many of her clients are shops in the Austin area. 

Maya is happy to be a resource to those interested in learning about vintage and for creatives looking to pull clothing from the shop. They allow stylists and local creatives to pull clothing for photoshoots and other creative endeavors.
